2024 MAINE COON CAT CLUB CALENDARS 

Our 2024 Club Calendar is now on sale.

Calendars can be bought and posted out. Cost to buy a calendar by post, including postage and packaging is £7.40. Please contact Steve Butters at mainecooncc@gmail.com for details of how to pay. Please contact Steve for postage costs if you wish to buy more than one calendar.

Please read the latest policy (click here to view) to see the latest requirements before you apply to GCCF for cat or kitten registrations including importation of cats from other cat registering bodies or if you currently have cats registered on the GCCF Active Register.  

New Concerning Strain of FIP

We have been made aware of concerns about a strain of FIP and want to make all cat owners aware.   Recent Letter sent to GCCF Judges

A letter was recently circulated to all GCCF judges who judge Maine Coons. The MCBAC and the club committee felt that this information should be shared with the wider public. If you show with GCCF, or breed and sell kittens for showing with GCCF we strongly advise that you read the circulated document Maine Coon Breed Advisory Committee Letter to Judges (pdf format)

A number of photos have been included to let you see the wide variety of colours we have.

Club membership is open to anyone, you do not have to own a Maine Coon to join. Many of our members do not breed or show, but just enjoy living with a Maine Coon and the club caters for everyone, even those who don't own a Maine Coon but just like the breed. Langford Vetinary Services offer a 20% discount on their Feline Genetic Testing Services to fully paid up members of the club. The club holds several events each year. We publish three newsletters, as well as holding the club show, and social events. We produce a Maine Coon Calendar each year. Yes, the club even publishes its own calendar, with photos of members’ cats on each page!
